HOW TO ENJOY THE TIME TO COME......

1) Continue to enjoy the little things in life:
Stay in Touch (excerpt from
The Guardian)
Another critical component of good mental state is feeling connected to others. This time, technology is our friend. Connecting and making time for friends on social media or over the phone will be critical for adults. Also important, is “reciprocal social support” – reaching out to others to make sure they are OK.

Children are used to highly social environments and will also need to connect with friends. Older children could create themes on Instagram or Snapchat where they can share their experiences and tips with friends. With younger children it might be scheduling in some video calls with friends and family.

- enjoy the Opera! Beginning March 16, the Met will stream a title from its Live in HD series each night through the duration of the closure. The performances, originally captured as live broadcasts in movie theatres worldwide, will begin at 7:30 PM from the company's
homepage. Check out this link for the schedule of shows: https://www.playbill.com/article/metropolitan-opera-after-shutting-its-doors-will-offer-free-streams-from-live-in-hd-catalog

- enjoy the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra: There are over 600 orchestral concerts from the Berliner Philharmoniker in the Digital Concert Hall from more than ten years.  Log on to the Digital Concert Hall

- eat out by ordering in! Lieferando (

- take a hike, literally! (by yourself or with your family only - NOT in large groups)
