Day Trip Mainz

Join us for a day trip to Mainz and a free guided tour of one of Germany's most historically important cities.  Special treat! - It is the first day of the Mainz Christmas Market!

Mainz features many buildings from Roman Times. Politicians  and Archbishops later used these buildings and changed the city to suit their needs.  You will explore all of this on a guided tour through the city, including the Cathedral,  “Leichhof”,  Ignaz church, Wooden Towers, “ Rheingoldhalle,” the Rhein, “Gutenberg Museum,” etc.

Lunch (free!)

When: November 29th (Friday)

Where: 10:00 am.  Meet at the Iron Tower in Mainz (Rheinstrasse opposite the Hilton hotel)

Return:  At 3:00 pm from your arrival point.

You can drive, carpool with someone, or take the S-Bahn (S8 or RE2) from Frankfurt Main Station to Mainz Hauptbahnhof and walk to the meeting point.
