No Drama Drama Club will be attending the English Theatre production of  THE EFFECT - A clinical romance by Lucy Prebble.

Storyline:  Connie and Tristan are volunteers in a clinical drug trial, but when they succumb to the gravitational pull of attraction and love, they must ask themselves: is theirs a palpable chemistry—or is it a side effect of the new antidepressant being tested?   This moving and human play explores questions of sanity, neurology and the limits of medicine, alongside ideas of fate, loyalty and the inevitability of physical attraction.
